Daily Record: Three Suspects in Pine Brook Purse Snatching Identified

According to the Montville Police Department, three people have been arrested in connection with a purse snatching in Pine Brook on August 27.

The Daily Record reportsJorge Contreras, 50, of Jersey City, Jose Ramos, 46, of Paterson and Carlos Quendo, 26, of Corona, N.Y., were all charged with theft from auto, conspiracy and receiving stolen property.

Montville police have said the incident took place around 9 a.m on Route 46 in Pine Brook. Steve Gutkin, Deputy Chief for the Fairfield Police department, said the three suspects were apprehended in Fairfield after a pursuit involving both police departments.
