Police Investigating Pine Brook Burglaries

are investigating a series of reported car burglaries in the Rachel Gardens apartment complex, in Pine Brook.

Police said four cars were reportedly burglarized between July 10 and July 11. All of the vehicles were unlocked and several items, from purses to GPS units, were reported stolen, police said.

Police are also investigating an attempted burglary at the L.L. Services gas station on Route 46 that was reported to have occurred overnight on July 18 into July 19. No items were stolen from the business, but police believe at least one actor attempting to burglarize the business was injured at the scene.

A glass window was damaged where police believe the injured actor or actors had attempted to gain entry.
