Pine Brook, Towaco VFD Respond To House Fire

Pine Brook and Towaco volunteer fire departments responded to a house fire that occurred at 13 Bogert Road in Pine Brook on Aug. 10. Authorities on the scene confirm that the fire was contained mostly to the second floor bedroom of the house and that no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

According to Capitain Ed Rosellini of the Montville police department, the fire was reported at 2:30 p.m. Fast response teams from the Parisspany fire department were on the scene and quickly joined by engines from Pine Brook and Towaco fire departments.

Pine Brook fire chief Herb Eggers says that the cause of the fire is still under investigation. He claims that the home sustained heavy smoke damage but that no one was hurt.
