NorthJersey.com: Towaco Fire District Budget Approved by State
The Montville Township committee voted to decrease the budget by $75,000 in April.
NorthJersey.com is reporting that the state has officially accepted the Montville Township Committee's recommendation to lessen the Towaco Fire District's budget by $75,000.
The committee the budget in April, dropping the budget from a total of $745,320 to $670,320, a more than 10 percent decrease. The budget was for the first time since the district's inception in 1921 in February.
