Cops: Man Jumps Out Pine Brook Hotel Window Before Nabbed on Warrant

South Jersey man charged with obstruction and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A South Jersey man wanted on an outstanding warrant jumped out of a Pine Brook hotel window before officers caught up with him on Thursday, Montville Police said.

Justin Dormi, 46, of Jackson, was charged with obstruction of justice and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to Montville Lt. Andrew Caggiano, police were alerted Thursday afternoon that Dormi had an outstanding warrant and was staying at the Knights Inn in Pine Brook.

No one answered the hotel room door when officers arrived at about 1:30 p.m., Caggiano said. Dormi "dove out of a rear window" before officers apprehended him, Caggiano said.

Dormi was charged and is being held at the Morris County Jail.
