Man Seeks Winner of Unclaimed Rutgers Tix

To support the Police Explorers, Gary Lewis donated two tickets to the Rutgers football game versus Army—but no one ever claimed them.

To support the Montville Police Explorers Tricky Tray fundraiser last spring, township resident Gary Lewis donated two of his tickets to the Nov. 12 Rutgers University football game versus Army at Yankee Stadium.

An attendee won the tickets, but never claimed them. Lewis is hoping the winner will remember the prize and step up.

"The raffle tickets were drawn and somebody won the tickets," Lewis said. "I was at the dinner. Trouble is, no one ever returned the redemption certificate to me for the tickets they won, which are sitting on my desk."

Lewis, who is vice-chairman of the Montville Planning Board, said he guesses the winner was from Montville or attending the fundraiser with someone from town.

He's hoping someone will remember who won. He says there's only one redemption certificate out there, so he's not worried about crank claimants.
