Graffiti Found on Cedar Hill School

Police investigate incident that occurred sometime over the weekend.

Graffiti was found on an entryway, the roof and the back side of on Monday morning, according to the Montville Township Police Department.

Sometime after 5:30 p.m. on Friday and before early Monday morning the words "sorry about your school," a stick figure drawing and the initials "EKO" were spray painted on an entryway of the Cedar Hill Elementary School, Patrolman Charles Trembley said Monday. 

The initials "EKO" were also found on the roof along the top of the gym and on the back side of the school, along with more stick figure drawings, Trembley said.

The incident is under investigation and surveillance tapes will be viewed, Trembley said.

The police are asking anyone with any information about the vandalism to call the station at 973-257-4300.
