Firefighters Helping Evacuate 2 Changebridge Rd. Homes

Firefighters were evacuating residents from two homes on Changebridge Road on Sunday afternoon because the houses were surrounded by 2 to 3 feet of water and the residents asked for help leaving, Montville Police Lt. Rudy Appelmann said.

The homes are 312 and 314 Changebridge Road, and firefighters are using a boat to assist them, Appelmann said. One of the residents was wearing waist-high waders.
