Daisy Moss, 33, of Woodland Park, was charged with theft, credit card fraud and forgery.
Moss, who was employed at the Taylor Tap House on Fairfield Road, altered the credit card receipts of about 20 restaurant patrons between May 7 and 23 by increasing the tip amounts left for her totaling about $1,095, police said.
A customer noticed the increased charge on his credit card statement and alerted management of the Taylor Tap House. The restaurant worked with Detective/Sgt. Charles Zampino and Detective Jeffrey Didyk to make a case against Moss, police said.
Moss was charged last Friday and released on her own recognizance.
