Car Burglaries Under Investigation

Police said GPS, other items were reported stolen.

Montville Township police are investigating a pair of alleged car burglaries that took place earlier this month. 

During the first, according to Capt. Ed Rosellini, a vehicle appeared to be burglarized the night between Oct. 7 and Oct. 8 on Mary Drive in Towaco. Several items, including a GPS unit, were apparently stolen after a person or persons allegedly entered the car.

In another incident, which was believed to have occured between Oct. 12 and Oct. 15, a Lexus parked in the parking lot of 43 Route 46 was allegedly burglarized. When the owner returned to the vehicle on Oct. 15, speaker equipment was removed from the car and the car appeared to be broken into.
