Burglaries Reported in Pine Brook, Towaco
Police responded to two incidents in the past week.
Two burglaries were reported in the township in the past week, according to a alert.
One incident occurred near Route 202 and Candlewick Drive between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. The second incident occurred near Woodmont and Rutledge roads between 12 and 7 p.m., a Wednesday Nixle alert said.

- Make your home look occupied, and make it difficult to break in.
- Lock all outside doors and windows before you leave the house or go to bed. Even if it is for a short time, lock your doors.
- Leave lights on when you go out. If you are going to be away for a length of time, connect some lamps to automatic timers to turn them on in the evening and off during the day.
- If you see a suspicious vehicle in your neighborhood record the license plate and then call police.
