Gunpoint Robbery of Pine Brook Auto Repair Shop Under Investigation

Police are looking for the two men who fled on a motorcycle Saturday evening.

An attendant at the L&L Service Station was robbed by two men at gunpoint Saturday evening, Montville Police said.

When Patrolman Geisinger arrived, the attendant described two men “riding a sport type motorcycle. One of the males displayed a handgun and demanded cash,” according to Capt. Rudy Appelmann.

The attendant turned over an undisclosed amount of cash and the two men fled traveling west on Route 46 at about 6 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Anyone who may have been in the area of the L&L gas Station on Saturday evening around 6 p.m. and may have additional information should contact the Montville Police Department at 973 257-4300.

This sounds similar to the MO of an armed robbery in Wanaque a few days ago.
