3-Car Crash Backs Up Traffic on Changebridge Road

Police said no one was injured in crash.

A car traveling south on Route 202 allegedly crashed into a tractor-trailer turning off of Changebridge Road Tuesday afternoon, causing traffic to back up on Changebridge.

Montville Township Police Ptl. Brian Leech said three cars were involved in the crash that happened at about 3:15 p.m. Leech said one car was traveling north on Route 202 while the other was traveling south. The driver of the vehicle traveling south attempted to make a lefthand turn on to Changebridge Road, Leech said, but allegedly failed to yield to the right of way.

No injuries were reported in the crash and Leech said no one has been issued summonses at this point.

Traffic was backed up on Changebridge Road, but resumed by 4 p.m. No property damage was reported but the two cars were totaled and the tractor-trailer also sustained damage, Leech said.

Montville Township Volunteer EMS Squad responded to the scene as well.
