$1K Worth of Items Stolen From Home

Resident said he returned home to find a flat screen television, other items taken.

Police are investigating a reported home burglary in which $1,000 worth of items, including a flat screen television, were apparently stolen from a Lincoln Park home on Tuesday.

The alleged burglary took place at a Minnehaha Path residence. The street is about four miles from Towaco, according to Mapquest.

The homeowner reported that after returning home around 8 p.m., he realized his home had been burglarized, Lincoln Park police said. Police said the owner had been out of the house from about 8 a.m.

It appeared as though a person or multiple people had entered the home by breaking a rear window, police said.
