Superintendent Gives Students the Night Off
May 29 is a Homework Free Night. Families encouraged to relax together on night off.
Thursday, May 29 is an official Homework Free Night according to Montville Township Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. Paul Fried.
In accordance with the Homework Free guidelines, homework will not be assigned. Additionally, quizzes and tests will not be scheduled for the day following the Homework Free Night.
“It is our hope that families use these rare homework free evenings to spend relaxing time together having dinner and enjoying a night off with one another,” Fried wrote in his letter to the Montville Township Public School community.
The Montville Township school district has established one homework free evening per quarter. Thursday's Homework Free Night is the final one for the 2013-2014 school year.
