Eighth-Graders Plant Flowers at Lazar for Service Learning Project

Students embarked on beautification project.

Students from Robert R. Lazar Middle School in Montville Township recently enjoyed a sunny spring afternoon planting marigolds around the school’s main sign.

The project was initiated by the students of the Lazar Advisory Committee as part of their eighth grade service learning project.

In addition to planting, the students also beautified the grounds by weeding.
