On Saturday, March 22 the Montville Township High School [MTHS] Class of 2016 will be holding an American Girl Doll Café. Complete with lunch and a visit to the hair salon, the MTHS Class of 2016 has thought of every detail for a girl’s special day out with her American Girl Doll and mom.
The event begins with a hostess welcoming the party to lunch. All will be seated at a table where each doll will have a special chair. Customized menus will allow each diner to choose the perfect entrée for the afternoon’s meal.
Following lunch, girls will design puffy paint T-shits for the dolls. Both girls and their dolls will attend a session at the hair salon.
Favors, prizes, raffles, shopping and a picture station are available.
The American Girl Doll Café is organized and run by more than 50 high school students from the Class of 2016. The organizers hope to raise $3,000 at the event. Proceeds from the day will be used to provide events for the class’ senior year.
