Community Update

The Chamber's Citizen of the Year. The Montville Chamber has long been known (over their protests) as an arm of the local Republican Party. In the past they have named people as a resume builder for Republicans who seek office the next year. Art Daughtry, Tim Braden and Marie Cetrulo to name three who fall into that group. This year however they have named a person who just recently called for "Second Amendment Remedies" in talking about the removal of the President and referred to the President of the United States as a turd. He sued Montville Township for almost 10 years and was on the receiving end of a controversial and I believe politically motivated $1.8 Million open-space purchase of flood plane and wetlands loaded property know as Market Place at Montville. He can certainly say what he wants no matter how repulsive. He can manipulate government if he is able but Citizen of the Year? Shame on you Chamber. You detract from the other legitimate people being honored that night.
