Girl Power: Montville Firm Gets National Certification

The certification is awarded if more than half of the business is owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

A Montville-based business recently received a national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise

Blank2Branded—a business specializing in promotional products—was certified by the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization, a New York regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

“WBENC’s national standard of certification was implemented by the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization and is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection,” according to Marcia Tarnoff, owner of Blank2Branded. “The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.”
