Playing With Grain

A unique showcase of regional artists who work with wood as their connection to the natural environment that surrounds them. The work ranges from small pens to major musical instruments, from bowls and platters to furniture.

Artists included in the show will be Paul McMasters (furniture, Bob Walsh (hand tooled fishing fly rods), Josh Friedman (furniture), George Haling (turnings), Dan Stevens (musical instruments), George Dowker (hand-tooled pens), wood-based puppets from the University of Connecticut Puppetry Program, Masks from Flock Theater, sculpture from Rich Santora’s father (nationally known work), George Bentz (bowls), Stan Mazur (lots of wood creations), Jake Kaeser (harpsichords) and a raft of others.

Join us for the Artists’ Opening Reception: 
Saturday, April 26 from 7-10pm
Playing with Grain runs through May 24.
