Where In Montville: Sundial

With comments from a mom and two Montville mayors—plus the completion of a rhyme.

This week's Where In Montville featured a closeup of a sundial at the and received comments from two Montville mayors.

Former Mayor correctly IDed the spot and noted the sundial was dedicated to Carl Kieber, the first president of the Kiwanis Club.

Current Mayor Tim Braden suggested that perhaps Mr. Daughtry had an advantage because, as it turns out, Mr. Daughtry installed the sundial along with Mr. Braden.

Art,
I am not going to say that you cheated in this contest but I have a picture of you installing this sundial!

Carol said she was showing her son how to use the sundial, which could certainly come in handy if his smart phone ever runs out of battery and he needs to know the time.

I was just showing my son how to use that yesterday! Great pic!!

The sundial has a rhyme engraved on it:

Time stands still when children play
They run, they laugh, they seize the day

I'm not sure of the source of the rhyme. A huge shout-out to Carol and our Montville mayors. Congratulations on winning this week's Where In Montville.
