Week in Review: Primary Candidates, Baseball And a Helicopter Ride

A weekly review of what Patch reported on in the past week.

For many, the week started with a day off, because of Memorial Day. The VFW held a ceremony on Monday, and Patch contributor Lilia Stantcheva was there to tell us about it.

Here's a recap of what we saw throughout the rest of the week:

On Monday, Sue Marinello brought us a video and a review of The Barn Theatre's "The Drowsy Chaperone," as well as an interview with a local art teacher, and we caught up with the television show "Jerseylicious."

On Wednesday, we started our primary election coverage with an interview with township committee candidate Art Daughtry, reported an alleged armed robbery, spoke to the director of "The Drowsy Chaperone" at The Barn Theatre and saw Gov. Chris Christie take a controversial helicopter ride.
