Watch Out for the Kinnelon Leprechaun

Five things to keep in mind heading into Thursday.

After a pretty busy start to the week, with the Board of Education, and Library board having their meetings, as well as the Township Committee's special meeting Wednesday, things seem to be slowing down in Montville as the week moves on. Regardless, there are still at least five things you should know about St. Patrick's Day 2011.

1) Township Meetings: there isn’t much happening in the way of Township meetings tonight. Long Term Financial Planning is the only board meeting tonight, 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal building.

2) Spring Sports Still Gearing up: Montville high school’s varsity softball team continues to gear up for the fall season, taking on Pequannock at home at 4 p.m.

4) Learn Excel: The Montville library is holding its weekly computer class tonight at 6 p.m., with this week’s class focusing on how to use the Excel spreadsheet program. The class does require registration, but it can be done in person or over the phone by calling 973-402-0900.

5) Warm weather continues: As spring’s official start date moves closer, Montville will continue to enjoy mild weather. The National weather service is calling for a sunny Thursday, with a high of 62 before dropping down to 35 tonight.

Bonus 6) A Leprechaun in Kinnelon: If you happen to find yourself in Kinnelon today, keep an eye out for as part of a deal she made with her township's residents. Don't worry, Montville, I promise I wouldn't subject you to me in leprechaun gear.
