'Wall of Shame' Farm Stand's Way of Ousting Shoplifters

After several instances of shoplifted produce at their Jacksonville Road farm stand, Orchard Hill Farm owners decided to post a "Wall of Shame" to embarass those who they believe took fruits and vegetables without paying. The wall holds surveillance photographs of people the owners allege stole from them.

Car Break-ins Under Investigation in Pine Brook

Montville Township police are investigating two alleged car break-ins reported on the same day in the parking lot of Maple Avenue businesses earlier this month.

Teacher Contract Still Waiting on Salary Guide

While the Montville Township Education Association and Montville Township Board of Education have reached a tentative agreement on a new contract, a salary guide has still not been established. According to a union representative, agreement on the salary guide is the last step needed before ratification of the contract.

River Road Parking Lot Could Have More Spaces

The Montville Township Committee is still considering what should be done to the parking lot at 86 River Road. The lot, which is shared by the Montville Township Board of Education and township, is scheduled to be paved, but Township Administrator Victor Canning said parking opportunities could also be increased.
