We talked with people at the warming shelter set up in the , the director of who said the library was even more crowded than during Hurricane Irene, and a Taylortown Road man who was cleaning a red oak tree that fell during the storm on Saturday. The tree apparently was 168 years old, he said.

A fifth-grader said a try at trick-or-treating at the Willowbrook Mall didn't yield much loot. He's looking forward to going out in Montville on Saturday after the town due to hazardous conditions.
