VFW Seeking Vietnam War Veterans

The is seeking Vietnam War veterans to honor this year, on the 40th anniversary of the end of the war.

Honoring the veterans on the anniversaries of the wars they served in is a tradition of the local post. In 1995, the VFW Post 5481 hosted an event for World War II veterans commemorating the 50th anniversary and in 2003, the post hosted an event for Korean War veterans in honor of the 50th anniversary.

This year, the post is hoping to honor Vietnam War veterans who served overseas and in the United States. Those veterans are asked to send their name and contact information (including phone number, address and email address) to VFW, 132 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ, 07405, call 201-410-5198 or email airborne1@optonline.net.
