Track Teams and Free Lunch

The Pine Brook Jewish Center is holding worship at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to celebrate the first day of Pesah, but that's only one thing going on in Montville on Tuesday, April 19. Check out the list below to see what you need to know today.

1. Montville High School’s track teams will travel to Jefferson at 4 p.m. this afternoon for a Spring meet with High Point and Jefferson high schools.  Montville competed in its first-ever throwers invitational earlier in April.
2. Trinity Christian’s varsity track team is also heading out of town to compete today. The Montville Christian school will travel to Stroudsburg at 3:30 p.m. today.
   
   
3. The Montville Township Chamber of Commerce will be holding its monthly meeting at the municipal building Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. The meeting is expected to run until 2 p.m.
4. The township’s twice-weekly lunch for seniors, which is part of a larger program run by Morris County, is taking place at the senior house this morning from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
5. Montville can expect more rain today. According to the National Weather Service, the area is expected to see rainfall today in the afternoon, though no more than a quarter of an inch. The high for today is 56 degrees.
