Sandy Aftermath: Trees Crash Down in Montville

Montville roads were quiet Monday as the area awaited Tropical Storm Sandy. They were just as quiet Tuesday, after the storm swept through, leaving downed power lines and trees.
Several of Montville's major thoroughfares were cut off by massive trees across the road. Some branches snapped while other trees uprooted. Residents were advised to stay off roadways as a threat of falling branches continued and power outages shut down nearly every residence in the area.
