Route 202 in Montville Under Construction
Main road reduced to one lane between Valhalla Road and Montville Inn.
The Morris County Engineering department, bridge construction and repair division is working Tuesday on Route 202 in Montville near the River Road bend.
Both the county engineering department and Township Engineer Anthony Barile could not be reached for comment. A representative from the township engineering department said he believes the county is upgrading road guardrails in the area, though that has not yet been confirmed.
The work has reduced Route 202 to one lane from the bend after Valhalla Road to the Montville Inn. County workers are on the scene directing traffic.
