Relay for Life, Strawberry Festival, Meet of Champions This Week

A weekly list of five things to do during the week.

Whether you're into sports, want to help with a cancer benefit fundraiser, can't wait to cast your vote in Tuesday's primaries, or want to enjoy some strawberries and ice cream, there is probably something going on in town for you this week.

Here are five things to do this week:

1. Vote. Polls will be open tomorrow from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., but if you can't make it on Tuesday then you can still vote by going to the Morris County Clerk's Office on Monday, as long as you make it by 3 p.m.

2. Julia Rizio and Taylor Bernstein will represent Montville Township High School at the track Meet of Champions on Thursay at 4 p.m. at the Carl Sandberg Middle School in Old Bridge. Both athletes qualified for their spots in the Meet of Champions over the weekend, with Rizio winning a Group III championship in the 100-meter dash.

3. Bollo Salon will hold a "Spring Fling," with complementary services, give-aways, and more, on Thursday.

4. The Montville Reformed Church will hold a on Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Guests can enjoy strawberries and ice cream, cakes, and more. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5.50 for seniors, $2.50 for children between ages three and twelve, and free for children younger than three.

5. The third annual Montville Relay For Life will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday  at the Montville Township High School. The event will benefit the American Cancer Society and will include DJs, a performance from Montville based band Valhalla from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m., a ballroom dance exhibition from Fred Astaire Dance Studios from 7 to 7:30 p.m., music by Last Chance Rock from 9 to 10 p.m., and a performance by comedic hypnotist Bill Pettek from 10;45 to 11:45 p.m.
