Montville Dance Studio Featured on 'Real Housewives of New Jersey'

Gia Giudice, Melissa Gorga get ready to perform in Beatstock concert.

This week’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey” featured Montville's on Changebridge Road. It also featured some interesting parallels, as two cast members prepare for stardom and two others navigate love lives and family.

Melissa Gorga’s songwriter, Corté Ellis, came to her Montville house to ask Gorga if she was ready to do another live performance. She was invited to be a part of Beatstock, one of the biggest concerts in the area.

“I’m a little nervous about the crowd. It’s all New York and New Jersey people, and they’re tough,” Gorga said. “I’ve seen people booed off the stage.”

Ellis reassured her, saying, “You pull it off, those people out there are your fans. Probably your fans for life. It could go either way.”

He recommended a few choreographers. The one she went with is Chris Judd, Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband and choreographer to many stars, includiing formerly to Michael Jackson. Judd met up with Gorga at Fred Astaire, and while he got there before her, Gorga was concerned he would get lost on the way to Montville.

“Did you find it OK? We’re out here in the boonies,” she said.

Meanwhile, in New York City, Teresa Giudices’s daughter, Gia, tried out for a dancing part at Beatstock. She ended up landing the part and in next week's episode teaser, Gorga and Gia Giudice are both seen getting ready to perform at the concert.

Earlier in the episode, Antonia Gorga’s elaborate sixth birthday party (featuring a bouncy house, blow-up caterpillar, cotton candy machine, and henna tattoos) appeared to be the first time Teresa Giudice, of Towaco, and Joe Gorga have seen each other and subsequent argument outside the doctor’s office. While they both still promised they are trying to make things better, neither believed the therapy worked.

“Therapy wasn’t for us, but I believe Teresa and I should just move on,” Gorga said.

At the party, Melissa Gorga invited Teresa and her family over for Sunday dinner, a step the therapist recommended to repair the, as Gorga called them, “somewhat broken family.”

“I don’t believe in ‘I’ll see you next Christmas.’ I want a relationship,” she said.

The party also highlighted

“I never imagined things being this awkward and distant between Jacqueline and myself,” Giudice said. “Our husbands get along, our kids play together.”

Laurita spoke to Kathy Wakile about the tension, who said she hopes the gang’s upcoming trip to Napa Valley will give them all a chance to talk.

“I don’t want to take sides, but I find myself relating to Jacqueline,” Wakile said. “My relationship with Teresa, it’s like walking through a minefield. You don’t know where the hidden words are. Boom. You’re done."

Meanwhile, in Hoboken, it was Albie and Chris Manzo’s roommate Greg Bennett’s birthday, and many castmates met up at a gay bar for a surprise party. Albie Manzo’s girlfriend, Lindsey, prepared to meet his family.

“I gotta laugh a little bit now because tonight I’m going to introduce Lindsey to my mom and my sister, and I haven’t introduced her to my family yet because my family is insane,” Albie said. “They’ll find things. If there’s nothing wrong with her, they’ll find something.”

Wakile’s sister Rosie Pierri also brought a girl, Brianne, to a family dinner at Kathy’s house. Pierri met her beau while at a gay bar with Kathy and their friend Heather, but it is unclear if they were on a date before this.

“I worry about how my mother’s going to react; I want (Brianne) to be comfortable; I worry about everyone around me,” Wakile said.

Back at the Hoboken bar, Albie Manzo becomes more worried about his sister, Lauren Manzo's, reaction to meeting his girlfriend than his mother.

“The biggest misconception about the Manzo family is that mom is the one you have to go through,” Albie said. “That is not even close to true. Lauren is the one you have to get through.”

Caroline Manzo, on the other hand, seemed to think the relationship will soon be strained.

“I worry because at this point in Albie’s life he’s not capable of having that relationship,” she said, believing that “girls want to be the priority.”

“His focus should ” she said.

Meanwhile, Joe and Melissa Gorga were in their natural element at the bar. Joe Gorga hit on Chris Laurita and made Bennett take body shots off of him.

“There’s no chance that Joe’s gay. I know he’s not gay,” Melissa said. “I mean, right?”

A show so often frought with drama ended on a happy and silly note, as the remains of Bennett’s birthday cake were smashed into Chris Manzo’s face.

The show airs Sundays at 10 on Bravo.
