Jules Fine Jewelry, located at 435 Hollywood Avenue in Fairfield, was excited to sponsor a jewelry design contest open to K-12 students who live in Montville Township and to recently present beautifully finished pieces of jewelry based on the winning sketches.

The contest was conducted in conjunction with Montville’s Independence Day Celebration and with the assistance of the Montville Recreation Department. Contestants were provided with an informational packet of design elements to consider and entries were judged in two age categories: K-5 and 6-12.

Beautiful necklaces were then presented to Alyssa Neff, a third grader at Woodmont School in Pine Brook, and Shannon Sun, a junior at Montville Township High School, based on their designs.

“My staff and I were thrilled to share our passion for jewelry and introduce aspects of its design to Montville students. While the selection process was not an easy one, it was a pleasure to work with our talented winners in fabricating their jewelry and we hope they will enjoy their necklaces for many years to come!” Michelle Gabriel, owner of Jules, said.
