JCP&L: 2,500 Without Power in Montville
Company expects to restore customers each day this week.
JCP&L was reporting 2,541 Montville customers without electricity at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the company's outage map.
The company on Monday said it would be restoring power to customers each day this week through Friday until all had power restored.

By section of town, the the breakdown was 632 customers without power in Montville, 812 in Towaco and 1,097 in Pine Brook. Earlier, there were more than 5,700 customers in the township without power.
On the Montville Patch Facebook page, Ivonne Aguila Carvajal summed up life without power in a single word: "Cold!"

Anthony Pizzi was eager to have power restored to Barney Road.
