Softball Final, 'A Chorus Line,' Committee Meeting This Week

Township Committe: Montville's governing body is scheduled to meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the municipal building.

Morris County Tournament: Montville Township High School's softball team is scheduled to face Whippany Park for the county title at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Peterson Field in Rockaway. Last week's game was canceled after heavy rains affected the infield.

'A Chorus Line': The musical makes its Barn Theatre debut as the finale to the Barn's 85th Anniversary season. Directed by Jay Mills, with musical direction by Jack Bender and choreography by Desirée Caro, evening performances run May 17, 25, 31, June 1, 7 and 8 at 8 p.m.; matinee performances run May 18, 19, 26 and June 2 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $24 (senior/student tickets are $22 on matinees only). Broadway in My Heart: Noted Broadway performer Karen Luschar performs a medley of Broadway hits at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Montville Township Public Library. The event is free.
