Budgets, Cameras and Baseball: What Patch is Covering this Week

A look at the stories we plan to tackle this week.

The might come to some kind of closure at this week’s Township Committee meeting on Tuesday, the Committee’s last meeting before its 30-day extension to make a final decision on the budget expires.

That isn’t all Montville Patch will be covering this week. We’ll report on the following as well:

Library Board: The Library Board of Trustees said in a that it would look into finding a way to fund cameras at itits meeting on Monday in response to a rash of vandalism at the library, including damaged property and swastikas.

Township Committee: Besides weighing in on the Towaco Fire budget, the Committee will likely discuss . At its last meeting, Mayor Jim Sandham said he thought the Committee was close to finishing a budget for initial proposal. We’ll find out if Tuesday is the day something is ready.

 High School Sports: While we may not get to all the games this week, look for coverage of the baseball team’s game against Cedar Grove on Thursday, as well as lacrosse taking on Pope John Paul.
