Airbag Theft Under Investigation

Police said an airbag was apparently stolen from a car parked outside a Pine Brook business.

Montville Township police are investigating an apparent airbag theft from a vehicle that was parked outside the Chapin Road business complex in Pine Brook last month.

According to Capt. Ed Rosellini, the car, a Honda, was parked in the complex's parking lot on Nov. 20 between 5 a.m. and 1 p.m. Between those hours, police believe the driver's side of the vehicle was entered and the airbag was taken.

The airbag was valued at $1,000, according to Rosellini.
