When Do Black Friday Deals Start in North Jersey?

Some stores are closed Thursday, while many other stores will open on the evening of Thanksgiving.

With the official start of the holiday season in sight, thousands of New Jersey shoppers will set their alarm clocks to get a head start on the Black Friday deals and some will get going on Thanksgiving evening. Here in Morris County, there are plenty of deals to be had. 

Rockaway Townsquare opens at 8 p.m. Thursday and will keep its doors open until Friday at 10 p.m. That's right: 26 straight hours.

  • Bed Bath and Beyond: open from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Friday. It's closed on Thanksgiving.
  • Staples: Open Thanksgiving 8pm to midnight. Open Black Friday 6 a.m. to normal close at 9 p.m.
  • HomeGoods: open from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. It's closed on Thanksgiving.
  • Kmart: Will open at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving and stay open until 11 p.m. Friday.
  • Kohl's: Will open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving and stay open until midnight Saturday.

The Paramus Park Mall, the Garden State Plaza and The Outlets at Bergen Town Center are all closed for Thanksgiving but will open their doors for Black Friday at 7 a.m. (Friday morning).

Paramus laws prevent stores from being open between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. but other chain stores around Bergen and Passaic will be open for Black Friday deals as of Thursday evening.
