Towaco Realty Seeks Turkey Donations for Food Drive

Turkeys and other Thanksgiving trimmings will be sent to the Montville Kiwanis Food Pantry to be distributed out to families in need.

The Montville Kiwanis Food Pantry is asking the community to donate turkeys and hams to help local families in need this Thanksgiving and one local business stepped up to be an additional drop off site for turkeys.

Stonybrook Realty will collect donations during its office hours, which is open 7 days a week during business hours. Their phone number is 973-334-1416 and they're located at 630 Main Road, Towaco, across from the train station.

Owner Bob Gannon and his wife, Linda "have been very active in the town with community service and we bring up our children that way too, because the community gives us a lot," he said.

Linda Gannon is an active member of the Montville Kiwanis Club as well and the pantry is also looking for all of the nonperishable fixings for a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

Bob Gannon said that they recently got a batch of turkeys donated from William Mason.
