Should New Jersey Hike Minimum Wage $1?

A question on the Nov. 5 ballot will let voters decide.

A majority of New Jersey voterssupport hiking the minimum wage to $8.25 an hour and believe it will not hurt jobs or businesses, according to a new Monmouth University/Asbury Park Press Poll.

Residents will get to vote on that with a question on the Nov. 5 ballot that also asks whether minimum wage should be adjusted annually to keep pace with inflation.
