Salon Plans Move to Much Bigger Space

Bollo Salon, in Towaco for 13 years, staying in same shopping center.

Bollo Salon is preparing to move, but it's not going far.

The salon, owned by Towaco resident Steven Bollo, is planning to add five chairs, expand its retail selection, and take on more employees when it moves into much bigger space in the same shopping center.

Bollo Salon opened 25 years ago in Livingston and moved to the Towaco section of Montville Township 13 years ago.

Now, it's getting ready to move into a space that's twice the size in the same shopping center, where Conturso's Market used to be.

Bollo said the salon has more clients and the new location will "allow us to do what we do best even better." The number of chairs is increasing from five to 12. There also will be more space for his wife, Kimberly Bollo's, jewelry and accessories boutique, Kimberly & Co. The husband and wife have two sons, Gianluca and Mario.

The move will require extensive renovations and Bollo expects to have an opening celebration this fall. Steven Bollo said he envisions the new space as having a fun, lounge atmosphere.

Bollo Salon offers haircutting, coloring, relaxing treatments, manicures, gel nails, pedicures, facials, waxing, and hair and scalp treatments.
