Montville Garden Center Ready for Fall, Halloween

Condurso's, a mainstay for nearly 100 years, gears up for the fall and winter seasons.

Condurso's Garden Center has been around since 1929. For many, it's a familiar name, but for travelers driving down River Road, it’s hard to miss when with the large inflatable Halloween decorations out front. They’re prepping for fall and Halloween and offer a variety of options, including a covered outdoor pumpkin patch.

“We have everything you would need for fall decorating,” said Anthony Luciano of Condurso. “We have a new line of product coming every day.”

He listed off some of the items they have:

  • Gourds
  • Asters
  • “full line of strawberries and shrubs for planting”
  • Fall décor at Condurso ranges from inflatables and Indian corn to scarecrows and pre-painted pumpkins for those in a hurry.

There are a variety of mums from 4-inch mums up to 14 inches. There are a total of six sizes of mums and there are baskets of mums as well.

Also, the outdoor pumpkin patch is covered.

“Even if you have bad weather, you’re undercover,” he said. He’s also thinking a few months in advance and has an eye on December.
