Conturso's Market & Fine Catering on Main Road in Towaco has closed and a salon in the same shopping center plans to move into the vacant space this fall.
Conturso's opened around four years ago and fed its customers in a variety of ways, including home-delivered Thanksgiving dinners, corporate catering, bagged family meals to-go, and pizzas, sandwiches and a pasta bar for people to enjoy at the tables inside.
Owner John Conturso received his classic chef training at Culinary Institute of America. On Wednesday, he said he was done with store and did not have any other comment on the closing.

The menu included the popular Chicken Italiano Sandwich and Nancy's Favorite Eggplant Sandwich.
