The Fred Astaire Dance Studio will provide five participants with eight private lessons with a professional dancer to prepare them for the Dancing with the Survivors showcase.

Survivors of breast cancer who think they have the moves -- or want to learn -- to bring to a showcase of various dance styles are invited to the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Montville for a chance to participate in a survivor's benefit

The dance studio is seeking participants for the nationwide Dancing with the Survivors put on by the Pink Fund, an organization providing up to 90 days of financial support for people being actively treated for breast cancer.

This is an open call to men and women with no dance experience required. The studio is looking for five dancers who will all receive eight private dance lessons with a professional dancer prior to the showcase.

Additional group dances will be provided as needed to participants at no extra cost.

Interested persons are asked to contact the Fred Astaire Dance Studio by phone at

The Dancing with the Survivors showcase will take place Oct. 2.
