Video: Jacksonville Chapel Concert Band Honors America

Part of the township's summer concert series.

The Jacksonville Chapel Concert band preformed a free show at the amphitheatre in the Montville community part on July 29 as part of the recreation department's free summer concert.

The Lincoln Park-based ensemble preformed a medley of patriotic songs in a performance titled "Good Ol' USA.," including "America the Beautiful" and "God Bless America." The band, performing in front of roughly 70 citizens, also played less specific songs celebrating the county, such as the theme from Looney Tunes.

"It doesn't get much more American than Bugs Bunny," said band director Stephen P. Brown.
