Two Montville Residents on Third Season of 'Housewives'

Teresa Giudice's cousin, Melissa Gorga, will join the show's cast in the third season.

It’s official: Montville has another reality TV star.

The Bravo TV network announced that the third season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” will begin on May 16 with an extended 90-minute episode, set to air at 9 p.m.

In addition to Towaco resident Teresa Giuduce, the third season will feature Giudice’s cousin and fellow Montville resident Melissa Gorga.

According to the network, the new season is "all about family" as Teresa's sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, and  first cousin, Kathy Wakile, join Franklin Lakes sisters-in-law Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita. 

"The drama picks up where last season left off when holidays are celebrated, children leave the nest and tensions run high between housewives," according to Bravo TV.

According to her bio on the Bravo website, Gorga lives in an "ornate mansion" that her husband, Joe (Teresa's brother), a real estate developer, built, and she decorated herself. A stay at home mom — with a degree in education and psychology from New Jersey City University — to Antonia, 5, Gino, 3, and Joey 11 months, her official bio says she's "a sassy Italian who is known for her witty, fun, and loving personality.”

“Melissa and Joe have been married for almost seven years and met while both were away on spring break in Cancun,” the bio said.
