Teresa Giudice Could Testify in Husband's Fraud Trial

Joe Giudice still expected to stand trial for charges of using his brother's personal information to obtain driver's license.

As "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice's husband, Joe, awaits his trial on charges of possessing a fraudulent ID, his sometimes outspoken wife may take the witness stand in his defense, according to Perez Hilton.

The celebrity news website also reported that Giudice's lawyer is blaming the star's reality television fame for the potential penalty of him going to state prison on the charges.

Giudice was indicted last December after being charged in March of 2011. He was arrested in his Towaco home. The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office alleged Giudice had used his brother's identifying information to obtain a driver's license from the Department of Motor Vechicles in Paterson in June 2010. At the time, Giudice's own license had been suspended.
