'Real Housewives' Star and Family Quarrel Over $5 at Beach

Ship Bottom Police were called after the Giudices were allegedly combative with a beach patrol worker.

Towaco residents Teresa and Joe Giudice seem to keep running into problems dealing with money.

Last month, the star of the hit Bravo television show "The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and her husband both pleaded not guilty to 39 counts of fraud in federal court in Newark. If convicted on the multiple charges, the Giudices could serve dozens of years in prison and be forced to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.

This past Saturday, the couple were spending a day at the beach with family when they caused a ruckus over $5, according to NJ.com. After being confrontational when a beach patrol worker asked to see their beach badges—which are $5 a person—Ship Bottom Police were called to the scene, the website reported.
