Montville-Based Band Takes Stage With Jonas Brothers

A Montville-based rock band that brings together student mentors with students who have disabilities took the stage with the Jonas Brothers at PNC Bank Arts Center last week.

Pathways' Rock Band sang "Burnin' Up" with the Jonas Brothers during a sound check party Thursday evening before the Jonas Brothers concert.

Pathways posted video from last week's show and thanked the Jonas Brothers: "Thank you so much, Kevin for the incredible opportunity to be on stage with you guys. It meant the world to the Pathways Rock Band!

"Thanks for making a difference, Jonas Brothers!"

In June, Kevin Jonas, who's featured on the E! reality show "Married to Jonas" and is the oldest of the three brothers in the band, dropped in on a Pathways Rock Band rehearsal. After the visit, which was arranged through a member of the Pathways for Exceptional Children Board of Trustees, Jonas tweeted that the group was amazing.

Pathways' Rock Band, which formed in 2011, is a project of Pathways for Exceptional Children, an organization that was founded in Montville Township in 2002.
