Montville Teen Star Performs at Sold-Out Anit-Bullying Concert

Montville’s Zach Matari, 19, performed to a sold-out crowd this past weekend at Gramercy Theatre in NYC for RealityDance.net Anti-Bullying Fall Jam.

Matari graduated Montville High School in 2012 and since then has been making a name for himself. The motto of last Sunday’s Fall Jam was "We Don't Bully, We Just Dance."

With over 1500 tickets sold, Matari joined artists from all over the country to make the public aware of this ongoing problem with today's teens, according to Yanin A. Acosta of Papa Grande Records.

Matari performed his original hit song "Make You My Girl" which was produced by Grammy-winning producer Fred Jerkins III, to be officially released early next year.  Other performers that night include Coco Jones, who was featured on Radio Disney's Next Big Thing, (N.B.T.), and is best known for starring in the Disney Channel movie Let It Shine, and IM5 Band along with other artists, singers, dancers and YouTube celebrities.

Matari continues his tour this month and will perform with America’s newest boy band, Midnight Red, known for their hit single "Take Me Home." Here’s a look at where his tour will take him:
  • Nov. 26 at The Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA, hosted by Lancaster's radio station FM97.
