Giudice Earns $60K for NephCure on 'Celebrity Apprentice'

Towaco resident's team praised on reality show by Donald Trump.

Towaco resident and "Real Housewives of New Jersey" and "The Celebrity Apprentice" star Teresa Giudice earned $60,000 for The NephCure Foundation on Sunday night's episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice."

The NephCure Foundation is dedicated to researching a cause and cure for Nephrotic Syndrome, a form of kidney disease.

On Sunday's "The Celebrity Apprentice," Giudice served as the team manager for Team Unanimous, which was tasked with creating a 60-second commercial promoting the Entertainment.com website and mobile app, according to NephCure's website. Donald Trump informed her that the Entertainment.com executives favored her team's commercial.

Giudice will be competing for more money to go toward The NephCure Foundation as she continues on in the "The Celebrity Apprentice" competition. Also according to NephCure's website, on the April 15 episode of the show, Giudice is expected to present a check for $60,000 to Michael Levine, a NephCure board member, and his family. Levine's son, Matthew, 8, suffers from kidney disease.

"The Celebrity Apprentice" airs at 9 p.m. on Sundays on NBC.
